In a competitive industrial environment, many companies are faced with similar difficulties: market share is easily lost, employee costs increase and operational costs must be reduced to remain competitive. Process Analytical Systems is a key area where operational cost savings can be achieved to help reduce operating costs.
Process Analyzer Systems are getting more complex and more difficult to implement and maintain. There is a gap between operational needs and the costs associated with capturing the savings available. Tartan’s Analyzer Business Unit has the experience to provide a complete package of process analytical services to our customers and close this gap.
Tartan is not affiliated with any analytical-products producer. This allows Tartan to serve the specific needs of the customer and the plant site. Analytical products companies focus on selling and have limited interest in concerns where products are not required. Tartan is interested in the complete scope of analytical requirements and delivers a complete package to the customer.
Tartan has the ability to collect data and information from customers and develop a complete assessment of their analytical requirements. In doing so, Tartan imposes very minimal time demands on a customer's technical and operational staff so as to not disrupt the important daily activities of running the plant.
Striving to provide comprehensive services to all of our customers, the Tartan
Analyzer Business Unit can provide the following benefits to our customers:
• Assist in development of operational cost saving projects
• Evaluate and provide a solution for analytical systems that are not
operational and producing the cost saving promised.
• Development of technical specifications and commercial budgets for
analytical system projects.
• Evaluate analytical systems currently installed for multiple plants
and provide a recommendation of cost saving alternatives.
• Develop company standards and specifications to assist in standardizing
their analytical systems. This would allow for reductions of costs for training
personnel, maintaining parts stocks and improve analysis
availability to the process operators.
• Developing projects for multiple plant sites that will produce operational
savings and schedule them over time according to the maintenance and capital
budget expenditures. This will produce cost savings on engineering and design,
support standardization of the systems while providing cost savings
solutions to many plant operations.
• Provide the complete turn-key analyzer system with full responsibility
for it's operation and performance.
• Assist in the training and development of customer staff or local
out-sources maintenance support for geographic regions. This would help to
develop local maintenance capability in various geographic
areas to support cost saving solutions that are implemented and maximize the
analysis and operational availability of the systems installed.
