New facility consisting of an inlet manifold, inlet emergency shutdown and pressure control valves, testing facilities, fuel gas scrubber, free water knock-out vessels, group treater, produced oil tankage, water skim and water suction tanks, slop tank, desand tank, pop tank, water injection package, recycle and skim pumps, vapor recovery compressor, high pressure flare system, instrument air compressor package and related ancillary equipment. Design rates 1,580 bpd 25 API oil (250 m³/d), 50,320 bpd water (8,000 m³/d), 354 MSCFD (10 dam³/d) 2.7% H2S content.

EPCM field development in 4 distinct phases for a grass roots oil facility. Facilities include: a 5,000 BOPD battery c/w tankage, on site power generation, truck-in and recycle pump skid, twin electrostatic treaters; two satellite batteries, 13 well tie-ins (including electrification of pump jacks at all sites) and 28 km of 3" and 4" pipelines including provisions for pipeline tie-ins by other companies. Also a fresh water injection system (lake water) and a separate produce water system were done on an EPCM basis.

Preliminary process flowsheet, pipeline routing, process and equipment selection, cost estimating and scheduling, preparation of design base memorandum, evaluation of existing equipment, AFE preparation for two enhanced oil recovery projects using miscible hydrocarbon flooding. Primary project consisted of 87 mile pipeline and pump stations, 25 injection wells, 45 producing wells (on gas lift), 5 satellite batteries, one central battery and main injection compression and pumping at Nevis. Total compression requirements of 7,000 HP. Second project included 33 injection wells and 66 producing wells.

Doe Creek Field Development

Doe Creek Area, Alberta
Development saw thirty five (35) oil emulsion wells (18 existing & 17 new) and thirty three (33) water injection wells (8 existing and 25 new) Each oil well produced 10 m³/d of oil and 15 m³/d of water, for a total maximum field production of 356 m³/d of sweet 38 deg. API oil and 500 m³/d of produced water. A new central battery site was constructed that consisted of an inlet test station serving two oil wells, a treater, six 1,000 bbl storage tanks, water disposal pumps, Truck-out / Truck-in station, LACT skid, solution gas flare, office, and utilities.

Jasper Pump Station Revamp

Jasper, Alberta
Engineering design for the EPC work for the remodeling of the Jasper Pump Station including adding an additional pump made up of inventory components including engine, gearbox and Bingham pump. All utility design was included along with all interconnecting piping and the addition of a new cooler. Significant building and foundation modifications were required.
